Central Singapore

Central Singapore is mainly comprised of Singapore’s central business district, apart from another 11 districts outside the area. Out of the five regions of Singapore, the Central Region of Singapore is densely-populated and somewhat commercial and undisputedly considered the center of business and entertainment of Singapore. This Singapore’s urban area is also made up of many parks, gardens and recreational areas that are intended to create green spaces to the concrete jungle.

Central Singapore is currently under ongoing re-development by Singapore government’s Urban Redevelopment Authority. The plan is to upgrade existing facilities and to introduce new business areas to bolster land use flexibility. Ideally centralized as the entertain hub, Central Singapore has a wide range of entertainment and nightlife venues to offer all types of revelers.
