Sentosa Singapore

Previously known in such an unpleasant name as Pulau Blakang Mati or The Island After Death”, this world famous destination was renamed into Sentosa and redesigned into a big and quick island getaway where all the great fun and hot sun is. It also offers the best beaches in Singapore despite its long-time joke that Sentosa derives from an acronym of “So Expensive And Nothing TO See Actually”. Sentosa today has been upgraded to be more entertaining and more fun with the Underwater World and a lot more exciting to come such as Universal Studios theme park and Singapore’s second casino which is scheduled to open in 2010.

Sentosa is often said to be closest Singapore’s version of Disneyland with many entertainment venues aimed at younger crowd. Dolphin Lagoon where the lovely pink dolphin performs their tricks, coupled with endless choice of seafood that will rewrite your dining experience, are enough to ensure that your trip to Sentosa is fun-filled.
