Singapore Sun Festival 2009
The Sun Festival returns to Singapore, a great opportunity to experience this exclusive lifestyle event at the only SE Asian host city. Over 200 international and regional artists, writers, musicians, chefs and other celebrities will join in this celebration of life. This year, the festival will feature premier performances and a variety of renowned representatives from across the various disciplines of art, wine, music, food, literature and wellness.
Singapore Sun Festival is an annual event since 2007 and this year will be held on 3-12 October 2009. The festival events take place in various venues across the city, including: Arts House, Old parliament, Singapore River, Esplanade Theater, and etc. Some event requires tickets and pricing is varied, though there are still many free events.
Prepare for dazzling ballet performances featuring principal dancers of the Bolshoi Theatre and Mariinsky Theatre. For 10 days the Festival offers a wide range of performances and events. Many forms of arts come to life and provide an opportunity to gain an appreciation across a wide spectrum.
The Sun Festival is founded by Del Sole Foundation of the Arts and Humanities which aims to promote education in the arts and expand appreciation for a variety of arts disciplines.
